Evelynd is seven months old and we had the most beautiful fall day today to help celebrate. The whole family went to the park to enjoy the weather.
She got to spend some play time in the rocker the Neahrings got her and that Dassow Daddy put together for her this weekend.
For dinner, she got Martinelli's apple juice (which she loves) and some beef ragout (which resulted in the worst reaction for a food ever -- spitting it out and screaming). This was her first try of beef and tomatoes. Then, she played with the tea set from the Jippings and I took pictures.
So what's new? She is starting to wave, though not consistently. She is getting really good at sitting and starting to stand without my support. She has a bigger range of sounds and can imitate me more; for example, today when I changed her diaper I said, "No poopies," and she said, "No poo." She loves petting the dogs and watching them run around. When Dassow Daddy surprises her, she jumps, and then giggles. She loves to eat and has even been able to get Cheerios in her fingertips to feed herself. She always grabs at my glass to taste whatever I'm drinking. Lately, she's been sleeping less: only about ten hours at night (in two five hour stretches) and only about an hour nap during the day. Today, however, she slept more, so we'll see. She's getting hard to change because she likes to move so much. She loves the piano and singing and practices both every day. She loves her baths. She loves being outside. She's still the cutest little girl I've ever seen.
She's getting big! We're sad you all couldn't make it to Fox's birthday extravaganza!
ReplyDeleteCute, cute and more cute. At least she knows what to do with the flower- she'll be dancing flamenco before you know it!
