Evelynd's Irish Tea Party

Today was all about Evelynd's birthday party and since it was St. Patrick's Day, we had an Irish Tea Party.  The guests included Leta Edwards, Kacky Hayes, Katey, Megan, and Kayla Axtell, Melanie and Sylvia Jipping, and Renata, Katrien, Annika, and Talia Tuggy.  All girls!  Poor Peter was really outnumbered.  Now, videos and pictures:

I made shamrock sugar cookies (even the dough was green).

Cream cheese and cucumber sandwiches on Irish Soda Bread (it was my first attempt at the bread and was really yummy).

The balloons were outside, but after the party we brought them in so Ev could play with them.  She made sure to point them out to every guest.

The first video shows Ev talking on her new phone from Katey and Kayla.  The second one is from the baby play area we set up and Talia Tuggy loving riding the lion.

Evelynd's Korean grandmother sent her a beautiful hanbok.  We'll try to get pictures of her in it soon.

After presents, we had cupcakes and cookies.  Unfortunately, our camera is slow, so the video doesn't show how Evelynd completely lit up when we all started singing "Happy Birthday" to her.

Tasting her horse candle (she picked it out at the store -- Nana Evans will be so happy).

After treats, I let Evelynd take off her dress.  She was pretty happy about that.

Eventually, it was only the Jipping girls left, so Sylvia and Evelynd played while the 'rents got to sit.
