Two Month Checkup

Today was Evelynd's two month checkup.  The interesting stuff:
  • Height: 24" (95th percentile)
  • Weight: 12 lbs. 1 oz. (75th percentile)
  • Head Circumference: 40 cm (75th percentile).
She is a growing girl!  Her clothes are getting too short.  Also, I can't believe I forgot to mention that Wednesday night she went six hours between feedings.  I felt pretty well rested on Thursday.

The bad stuff:

  • Three needles in her thighs:


  • More crying than ever (including our first real tears):


But at least she looked cute on this very bad day.

The good news:

  • Nana and Papa Dassow arrived this afternoon.  
  • The weather was gorgeous!
  • Red Sox killed the Cubs and are 2nd in the AL East.

    Aren't shots the worst? :( But you're right, she does look cute on that very bad day! Hope the 6 hours of sleep a night trend continues! We still have to let Fox cry it out some nights...

    Poor baby! Sylvia was fine after her last 5(!) shots, but then a week later she got a big welt on her leg- I hate that... Evie is growing like a lovely tulip. She'll probably be bigger than Sylvia here soon;-) Hope you have fun with Peter's folks.

    Don't make a big of the shots and the kid won't either. Just like the dentist :)
