Happy 40th Alfonso!

We got to go to another surprise party tonight.  My cousin Maddy threw a surprise birthday party for her husband, Alfonso.  We had a lot of good food (tamales, fresh salsa, and a chocoflan cake with strawberries).  Evelynd was asleep when we arrived, but she's a party animal so she immediately woke up and stayed up until we left.

 Earlier in the day I taught and we hung out at GG'ma and GG'pa's for most of the afternoon.  I took Evelynd for a quick walk and we met a family with a baby girl just a month older than Evie and a block away from my grandparents.  Maybe some future playdates?
