Evelynd's 13 months old today and I had to work for 12 hours. Bummer. We only got a 20-minute visit to the Kids Club in for fun and she had to have a babysitter (luckily, she likes Amanda and the weather was nice enough for them to go for a walk). She was so happy today -- back to her old self, although she's still drooling like the Mississippi flows. There's not much new to report. No, she's still not a walker, although she can take quite a few steps. She is a chatterbox and her vocabulary keeps increasing -- including her ability to put multiple words together. She loves to nod or shake her head to answer questions. She's still in a mommy phase (I love it!) and she still loves to read. She sings her ABC's whenever she see an alphabet like, "Eh. Eh. Eh. Eh. Eh. Eh. Eh." She sings "Twinkle, Twinkle" like this, "Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah. Star." She loves vegetables, being outside, and animals Most of all, Evelynd loves her blanket.
Playing with her lion from Sylvia Jipping yesterday.
Eating Dassow Daddy's delicious spinach artichoke dip.
Jumping to Dassow Mommy with the tulips Nana Evans planted for her blooming in the background.
Her cute flamingo shoes (which she loves) were a birthday present from the Thompson family.
We sure love you, Evelynd!
P.S. Red Sox beat the Rays for the third time in a row yesterday. Not so lucky today.
I can't believe how big and grown up she's getting! That dress is adorable. Baby Jane may have to borrow it :)
