Sylvia's 2nd Birthday Party

Evelynd and I got to go to Sylvia's 2nd birthday party today.  It was a beautiful day and the party was full of good food, fun toys, and nice people.

 After the party and Evelynd's nap, we went down to Riverfront Park.  Evie squealed in delight when she saw where she was.  We spent some time at the playground and then walked around, looking at dogs and the river.  After dinner, we lit our first fire in our outdoor fireplace.

This fireplace is extra special because it was built out of bricks from Salem's first capitol building, which burnt down in 1935.  You can even see some of the glass that melted into the bricks.  I said, "That's hot."  Evelynd repeated, "That hot."

P.S.  Red Sox beat the Rays again.  Handily.
