Baby Party

Thankfully, Evelynd is almost completely healed.  To celebrate we left a little early this morning and rode the carousel.  She seemed pretty happy to leave the house.  In the parking lot, she started clicking her tongue and moving up and down -- she knew where we were.

We had lots of lessons today and then ended the day with lessons and dinner at Isa and Ally's house.  Evelynd looooves them!  Last Tuesday, I had to play for a wedding, so Isa and Ally babysat.  When I came to pick Ev up, it was the first time she didn't burst into tears -- instead she smiled, laughed, and waved.  Today, she saw Ally in the window and waved and giggled.  Then, during lessons, she got to hang out with all the neighborhood kids -- an impromptu Baby Party!

(The boy on the left is named Thomas and is about seven months older than Evelynd -- I think his parents have their eye on her.)
