Book Exchange

My friend Gail asked me to be part of a book exchange.  I agreed.  Nana Evans and my friend Kristy both had done one before and didn't get a single book in return, so they did not want to participate this time.  I guess we're luckier because two books showed up in the mail today addressed to Evelynd Dassow!

Also, she had been getting really good at getting her hands in her mouth.  Today she discovered how to get other things in her mouth, so she spent a lot of the day with her blanket and her dress in her mouth.  She's learning things (although she didn't look as cute when her sundress was covered in drool!).

When we went to the park tonight we saw our old neighbors, Sam, Holly, and their 19-month-old daughter Claire.  Our Samson went down the slide first and it must have inspired Claire because she headed down face first without anyone at the bottom.  She took a little fall off the end of the slide that shocked her, but it was pretty funny.  We didn't send Evelynd down face first, though, so don't worry too much about our parenting skills.
